The Z13 class original CC79 class 4-4-2T steam tank locomotives operated by the New South Wales Government Railways (NSWGR) in Australia. 

These locomotives were constructed as 4-4-0 tender engines in 1877 the C79 with  68 built, 20 of the C79 being modified into 4-4-2T tank engines between 1896 and 1902. In 1924, the remaining 16 were reclassified as the Z13 class. They initially served on heavy suburban passenger routes in Sydney before being used on branch lines and for shunting.
